ABA Therapy

  • Basics NW ABA Therapy

    BASICS NW serves families of children and adolescents diagnosed with autism, as well as related diagnoses. Our clients range in age from two to twenty-one years old. We help our clients with an array of socially significant behaviors, such as communication, social interaction, adaptive skills, and any behaviors that may compromise the health and safety of an individual or those with whom they interact. We offer families scientifically validated tools and foundational skills to improve the quality of life for their children with special needs, as well as their entire family.

  • Aberdeen Community Food Bank

    The Senior Nutrition Program consists of both “hot lunches” served at our senior centers and Home-Delivered “Meals on Wheels”. We assist seniors (60+) to remain healthy and independent in their communities through good nutrition. Hot meals are served five days a week at senior centers in Aberdeen, Hoquiam, Elma, Raymond and Ilwaco. Nutritious hot and frozen meals are delivered to homebound clients who cannot get in to the senior centers.

  • CCAP Temporary Shelter Assistance

    Homeless families and victims of domestic violence or assault receive prioritization for the Emergency Temporary Shelter Program. Shelter guests may stay 30 days, and receive extensions up to 90 days. During their stay, shelter program participants work with a Housing Resource Specialist who will assist in developing a household action plan based on participants’ individual experiences. In addition to ensuring direct basic needs such as food, medical attention and clothing, other services may include case management, assistance with school enrollment, referral for any needed treatment or counseling, help in finding employment and rental assistance.Please call 360-533-5100 for further information.

    This group meets on the first Wednesday of every month, providing an opportunity for patients/survivors and parents/caregivers to connect with each other and engage in a facilitated group discussion. Group facilitators will provide relevant discussion topics, light snacks, and encourage participants to share information, stories, successes, and challenges faced in the context of brain tumor diagnosis and treatment. There are also fun, organized activities provided for children and youth 10 and older. This is a drop-in group with no associated fee.     Seattle Children's Hospital hosts a monthly gathering of parents/caregivers to provide community and support and discuss relevant topics with group facilitation.
