Community Resource Directory: The Arc hosts a robust Community Resource Directory that serves as a valuable tool for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, as well as their families and caregivers. The directory provides a comprehensive list of resources and services available in the local community, including healthcare providers, advocacy groups, housing services, employment opportunities, and more. It is regularly updated to ensure that the information is accurate and up-to-date. The directory is easily accessible through The Arc's website, and users can search for resources by category or keyword. Learn More.

Transitions from High School to Adult Life: The Arc is actively involved in the Grays Harbor Transition Council, which is a group of local organizations and agencies that work together to support students with disabilities as they transition from high school to adult life. As part of this partnership, The Arc hosts the council's yearly Transition Fair on its website, which provides valuable resources and information for students with intellectual and developmental disabilities who are transitioning into adulthood. The fair covers a range of topics, including employment, housing, education, and community resources. The goal of the Transition Fair is to help students with IDD and their families make informed decisions about their future and to connect them with the services and resources they need to achieve their goals.
